Tackling truancy with SMS
We have worked closely with a number of schools to address and solve truancy. Integrating a Mobile Communication solution which works automatically (or alongside) electronic registration systems, enables schools to immediately send a Mobile Message to parents if their child does not attend registration.
Castle View School in Canvey Island has been using Mobile Messaging for several years to notify parents about truancy. Their Head said that Mobile Messaging has had a positive impact on reducing truancy rates - Click here to read the full Case Study.

Mobile Messaging at Brockenhurst College enables tutors to contact pupils quickly and also provides a self-service information option for incoming enquiries
ProcessFlows implemented an SMS solution at the college, which integrated seemlessly with their existing email system, allowing text messages to flow in and out of email inboxs. In addition to tutor-student communication, SMS has facilitated a simple and cost effective way to provide parents with information. Click here to read the full story.
SMS is reducing unauthoriased absenses at schools throughout the borough of Telford & Wrekin
All thirteen of the secondary schools operated by Telford & Wrekin Council have become 'SMS enabled'. In addition to using SMS to notify parents when a child does not report for registration, schools are using the service to distribute other information such as school closure and parents evening notifications. Individual teachers are also able to use the system to send personal messages to parents, when a child has done well in class for example. Click here to read the full story.
