Tackling truancy with SMS
We have worked closely with a number of schools to address and solve truancy. Integrating a Mobile Communication solution which works automatically (or alongside) electronic registration systems, enables schools to immediately send a Mobile Message to parents if their child does not attend registration.

SMS is reducing unauthorised absences at schools throughout the borough of Telford & Wrekin
All thirteen of the secondary schools operated by Telford & Wrekin Council have become ‘SMS enabled’. In addition to using SMS to notify parents when a child does not report for registration, schools are using the service to distribute other information such as school closure and parents evening notifications.
